These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Mabuhay.gr (the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. What Mabuhay.gr is (and is not)

Mabuhay.gr is a members-only platform that helps users find and contact each other for work and service opportunities, including domestic and care-related services (for example: household help, elderly care, childcare, housekeeping), as well as other support services (for example: gardeners, drivers, boat crew and similar roles).

The Platform is not a party to any agreement between users and does not participate in negotiations, payments, or employment arrangements. Any communication, meeting, hiring decision, or agreement is made solely between users.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into legally binding agreements to use the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your profile up to date. Misrepresentation, impersonation, or providing false information is prohibited.

3. Members-only access and masked information

The Platform is designed as a closed community. Profiles are not visible to all registered users by default. A profile becomes visible only after a mutual selection: one user expresses interest and the other user accepts it. Certain personal details may be displayed with partial masking (for example: G****na) to reduce unnecessary exposure.

You must not attempt to bypass masking, scrape data, or collect personal information from other users in an automated or unauthorized way.

4. Identity verification and approval process

To reduce misuse, Mabuhay.gr may request identity verification information and/or documents before approving access or when needed for safety and integrity reasons.

Approval and verification are intended to reduce risk but do not guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of any user. You remain responsible for your own checks, judgment, and precautions.

Mabuhay.gr may approve, reject, suspend, or restrict accounts at its discretion to protect the Platform, users, and compliance, including where there are indications of fraud, abuse, policy violations, or legal risk.

5. Fees and payments (membership / listing)

Registration on Mabuhay.gr is free of charge. Fees may apply only if you request assistance or additional support related to the use of the Platform (for example: help with account setup, profile/listing preparation, or other support services). Any such fee is for website/platform services only and is not related to any wages, work payments, or financial arrangements between users

Payments are not completed inside the Platform pages. We will typically send a payment request by email, including either: (a) a secure payment link provided by a third-party payment provider, and/or (b) bank account details for bank transfer.

Where a third-party payment provider is used, payment processing is performed by that provider under its own terms. Mabuhay.gr does not store your full card details.

After payment, we issue a lawful receipt/invoice for website/platform services, in accordance with Greek tax requirements.

Any wages, fees, or other financial arrangements between users (for example employer-to-helper payments) are agreed and handled directly between users, at their own responsibility and risk.

6. User responsibilities and prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• post unlawful, abusive, misleading, or discriminatory content;
• harass, threaten, exploit, or attempt to deceive other users;
• request or share sensitive personal data unnecessarily (including documents) outside the Platform’s intended process;
• spam, advertise unrelated services, or send unsolicited messages;
• scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Platform (including via bots, scripts, or automated tools);
• circumvent security features or attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems.

7. Content and profiles

You are solely responsible for the content you submit (including profile details, messages, photos, or documents). You represent that you have the right to post such content and that it is accurate.

Mabuhay.gr may remove, hide, or restrict content that violates these Terms or is reported as harmful, misleading, or unlawful.

8. Privacy and personal data

Mabuhay.gr stores and processes user information to operate the Platform, enable contact features, and maintain safety. Personal data is generally kept for as long as your account remains active and until you delete your data or request deletion, subject to legal obligations and legitimate safety/security needs.

Mabuhay.gr does not delete your personal data without your request, except where deletion is required or permitted by law, or where action is necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse handling, or protection of the Platform and users.

9. Disclaimers (no warranties)

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Mabuhay.gr does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any user will meet your expectations.

Mabuhay.gr does not verify and does not guarantee the truthfulness of all user-provided information, the suitability of any user, or the outcome of any contact, interview, hiring, or cooperation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mabuhay.gr will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

Mabuhay.gr is not liable for disputes, injuries, damages, or losses arising from user interactions, meetings, work arrangements, third-party actions, or content posted by users.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mabuhay.gr, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Termination and changes

Mabuhay.gr may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect users, the Platform, or compliance.

Mabuhay.gr may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes shall be brought before the competent courts in Greece.
